What if, beyond merely being possible for each and every one of us to truly live… beyond it merely being possible for each and every one of us to have purpose, happiness and fulfillment as the guiding tenants our lives are founded on (and what we continuously pursue)… What if truly living is the very reason we are here? Think about it. Doesn't it make more sense that maximizing our potential, touching other lives and optimizing our true happiness and fulfillment are intended to be the real driving pursuits of our lives? Doesn't that make exponentially more sense than say… the abundance of time many of us spend consumed by pursuit of greater accumulations of money, material things, status and/or popularity - or the magnitude of time we sacrifice mired in things like stress, fear, regret, worry, insecurity, loneliness, insensitivity, denial, sorrow, hatred and other such limiting thoughts and paradigms? And while considering all of these questions, be sure to also consider that which many of us spend the lion's share of our days fighting desperately to ignore… Our time here is not infinite. Thus, regardless of anything we may, or may not, believe in, as far as we know - this could be the one and only life we have. And whether we spend it in fulfilling, impactful and meaningful ways or consumed with irrelevant and meaningless enterprises, one thing is certain. The proverbial sand will continue to fall through the respective hourglasses of our lives. And thus, when considered on the whole, perhaps the appropriate question to ask isn't… Why you? Instead, wouldn't the considerably more critical and logical question be - Why (in the world) not you? Followed up with - And why (given that proverbial falling sand) not right here and now?
